Silk with floral motifs embroidered to achieve dazzling three-dimensional effects and kimonos at the crossroad between the traditional and the boldly, ultra-contemporary cut satins. For Blumarine, Molinari experimented with valuable, lush fabrics, like brocade, with leather and fox fur, together with some of the most modern tailoring and ornamental techniques. And it could hardly have been differently – the dense, noble colours of emerald and royal blue needed be brought back onto ready-to-wear territory with essential pencil trousers and slender, minimal jackets.

The over knee boots and a certain Blumarine leather dress could very well be among fall 2014’s iconic pieces. Blumarine’s FW14 runway was live on #FashionavecPassion. You can re-watch it here!
