It was not Bohemian Rhapsody the soundtrack of Anna Molinari’s Blugirl runway show, yet the models on her Palazzo Serbelloni catwalk stepped just into the bohemian energetic beat of a London of raving music and stylish groupies.
This is the fall 2013 look for the young and keen fashion experimenter Blugirl clientele: boho-chic gone electrical. It was the fabrics that gave punk to the vintage cut tailorings of her flowy long sleeved dresses and bootcut trousers – there were fil coupé lurex chiffon, golden lined velvet, even the lace got strong glossy reflexes.
And what did not play in tune with this kind of optical effect used transparent fabrics in shades of peach, lilac and blue, leopard print and the magnificent simplicity of black on black, to bring an eclectic chorus to a collection described by its designer as being imbued by ’’a scent of flowers and freedom’’.
Blugirl fall-winter 2014/2015 strikes a unique fusion of opulence and femininity. And the Blugirl Swinging London show was live on #FashionavecPassion. You can watch it again here!
