Pure Seduction: The Atelier Versace Collection At Couture Fashion Week

Donatella Versace started the Haute Couture Fall 2013 season in Paris, with a collection dripping with glamour, doubled by a powerful dose of sensuality, which is, after all, a signature element of the label.

Naomi Campbell opened the show in a super-glossy jacket embroided with a cascade of crystals dripping from each and every seam, setting the tone of a collection in which the element of seduction reigned supreme on the runway,

A trench coat and deux-pieces in supple shiny croc leather, a set of dresses with plunging necklines masked by mesh inserts, as well as a series of pants decorated with a myriad sparkling crystals and paired with tiny crop tops that left quite a bit of flesh exposed, were next to dazzle the audience.

Just when I thought that nothing could top the glamour I’d just seen, along came a coat in a mix of mink, croc and sequins, literally taking my breath away, It was then followed by a set of floor-length evening gowns with a distinctly royal allure, which managed to create the impression that once you put them on, they have the magic power of entirely transforming the silhouette, highlighting its assets and creating curves in all the right places, enveloping the body in an aura of perfection.
