Architectural Silhouettes In The John Galliano Show

For the Spring/Summer 2013 season, Bill Gaytten imagined for John Galliano a series of architectural looks, in the making of which he resorted to the play upon prints and volumes.

Trapeze coats with suave drapings, tops with origami pleats and dresses with exaggerated proportions were among the most dramatic looks of the evening, proving that a sculptural silhouette needn’t necessarily be rigid, as Gaytten’s were truly lighter than air.
