Aqua Allegoria Limon Verde. Samba de Janeiro, samba de Guerlain!

Guerlain fragrances have, like their unmistakable Bee bottle, the air, and scent, of a miracle and a marvel, of something unique and precious. From 1828 onwards, almost all of the essences distilled in the laboratories of the former royal supplier have made their way into the legends and turned into myth. Let’s just think of Shalimar.

But sometimes even the greatest parfumiers in the world get to play, don’t they? Stray away from the pursuit of almost perfect elixirs and let themselves be guided by their experienced noses onto more relaxed, dancing, smiling – they say – territory. One more freshly-sweet and (almost) not at all French, but rather… Amazonian.

The latest creation of Thierry Wasser is the new tropical vibration Aqua Allegoria. After Nerolia Bianca, Mandarine Basilic, Pamplelune, Herba Fresca and Lys Soleia, next to Limon Verde we got to travel to South America. Mexican citrics and cane sugar. It just takes trying it to find out what specific dance it is… salsa? samba? merengue?
