An instant refresh for your hair: dry shampoo

Dry shampoo is not a product that encourages dirty hair, as I was tempted to think the first time I heard about this product. It can be an “emergency” solution when you don’t have time to wash your hair, but you have to look like you have done it.

Dry shampoo is actually a powder that usually comes in a spray, which absorbs the sebum and leaves the hair with a nice smell. It gives volume and refreshes hair, almost like you washed your head, but without using a single drop of water.

It is also a quick way to make your hair look better the second day after you’ve washed it. If your hair is fine and thin, this kind of product is actually recommended for you, as washing your hair daily can make it dry and damaged.

The disadvantage in using this product is that it might leave residues (white marks), due to its powder ingredient. It is therefore more suitable for people with lighter color hair.

Dry shampoos must be applied on your roots, and then the hair should be brushed. If your hair is very curly and hard to comb, this product may not excite you though. Here are some of the dry shampoos that you can buy:
