An Eclectic Mix Of Textures, Prints And Colours In The Matthew Williamson F/W 2013 Show

For the Fall/Winter 2013 season, Matthew Williamson explored the aesthetics of geometry, which he translated into relaxed, straight-cut silhouettes with clean lines. The label’s characteristic style was visible in the feminine, romantic accents, which this season made their way into the collection via rose tapestry prints and embroideries, transposed onto both skirts and coats, as well as onto the leather bag capsule collection that the designer is set to launch this fall.

The eclectic mix of textures, prints and colours provided the line-up with a bohemian air, while for nighttime, Williamson proposed a series of silhouettes evoking the brand’s signature romanticism, in the form of flowing dresses with fluid lines, paved with waves of glimmering sequins.
