A perfume with the scent of a laptop

Scent marketer Air Aroma is no longer satisfied with floral, fruity or marine aromas. They thought of creating a perfume with the smell of a… laptop. And not just any laptop, but an Apple Macbook Pro.

Air Aroma producers say their laboratories have captured the flavor of a brand new MacBook, and that the scent is now used as ambient scent for an art exhibition in Australia. The fragrance notes are “the smell of the plastic wrap covering the box, printed ink on the cardboard, the smell of paper and plastic components within the box, and of course the aluminum laptop which has come straight from the factory where it was assembled in China.”

To reproduce the smell, Apple send the French company a MacBook Pro, and from there on Air Aroma took care of all the other details and created the ingenious perfume.
