A nocturnal perfume, from Valentino

The newest Valentino fragrance, Valentina Assoluto, is a deep, sensual chypre version of Valentina perfume, lunched in 2011. Olivier Cresp, the one who made the perfume, describes it as being “much more nocturnal, more seductive” than the original.

This is due to the chypre theme, consisting of silky cedar, oak moss and patchouli. But the new fragrance opens up with happy peach notes, refreshing Italian bergamot, and white Alba truffle from Piedmont. The new scent is intense and mysterious, much more elegant and powerful than Valentina.

Valentina Assoluto’s campaign features the same model as for the original version, Freja Beha Erichsen.

The fragrance is available as 50 and 80 ml Eau de Parfum.
