A new beauty brand, developed by Estee Lauder’s granddaughter

Estee Lauder’s granddaughter, Aerin Lauder, seems to be determined to have her own success in the beauty industry. The 42-year-old woman has developed her own lifestyle brand, a line of make-up and beauty accessories called Aerin.

In creating the line, Aerin had the help of U.S. Vogue editor Anna Wintour and former NBCUniversal boss Jeff Zucker. The new brand features a selection of make-up including lipsticks, body cream, brushes, bronzer powder and eye shadows.

But the products are just one part of the Aerin brand, as she intends to sell homewares, fashion accessories and maybe even jewelries in the future. Aerian describes her line as one for “a luxury customer who wants things made simple”.

Lauder’s granddaughter told U.S. Vogue magazine that her line differs from Estee Lauder as ‘it’s pretty instead of beautiful’.

Although she will not be able to be the brand’s creative director, she will remain a style and image director at the giant beauty company.
