7 easy steps to clean your brushes

When is the last time you cleaned your makeup brushes? If you’re not doing it regularly, chances are you can get breakouts and irritations. Here’s how to do it, so you don’t have any excuses for skipping this beauty routine.

1. Take a bowl and mix some antibacterial soap with a little bit of olive oil. This combination will both clean and condition the brushes.

2. Take a brush and wet it under the water, but make sure to keep the bristles with the side down.

3. Put the brush into the mixture, and then work it into your palm, until the soap gets all the makeup out.

4. Rinse the brush with warm water, until is soap-free.

5. Put the brush on a paper towel, and allow it to dry overnight.

6. Repeat the operation every month.

7. Prevent getting too much dirt on your makeup tools by wiping them with antibacterial wipes after each use.
