5 unusual ways to loose weight

Almost everybody I know wouldn’t mind loosing some pounds, especially if they don’t have to put on a lot of effort. Here’s some untraditional ways one can achieve this goal:

Choose the perfect spot

Stephen Gullo, the author of The Thin Commandments Diet says “the center seats of the dinner table are where the bread, chips, and other sharing plates usually wind up,” so that’s why sitting at the end of the table might keep you away from over snacking.

Take vitamins

Although taking a vitamin alone isn’t a valid weight-loss plan, an international study showed that women who took multivitamis, calcium supplements or placebo, for 26 weeks, lost more fat than the others. This means that sometimes people eat more because they are afraid they are not getting enough nutrients.

Sleep in total darkness

Researchers from Ohio State University found that mice that sleep in total darkness are less prone to obesity than those who snooze in illuminated places. The ones who didn’t sleep in a dark room were tempted to eat at nighttime.

Remove guilty feelings

When you eat and then feel guilty, you become stressed. Studies have shown that stress is one of the main reasons for why people eat more, so learn to indulge yourself.

Sleep in a chilly room

A cold bedroom could improve both your sleep and your metabolism. This is because you are forcing your body to heat itself, and you burn more calories.
