5 essential steps for your skin

While putting make-up on, or curling your hair may be an option that worth taking in consideration, there are things more important than this, if you want your skin to be in the best shape. Here are 5 important things for your skin to look good on a long term!


1. Moisture

Don’t skip a day without moisturizing your body, no matter if you’re using cream, lotion, oil or body butter. Moisturizers act as a barrier between our skin and the air molecules, preventing the loss of water from our skin.


2. Massage

Though it may seem just a pampering gesture, massage does actually much more than this: it improves blood circulation, it tones the skin and relaxes the muscles, giving an over glow. Always apply your facial cream while massaging your skin in a circular motion.


3. Sunscreen

Even if outside it’s cloudy, your skin still needs sunscreen protection every day. On a cloudy day, 80% of the sun’s ultraviolet rays pass through the clouds and reach the earth. Apply a sunscreen lotion no matter the season.


4. Water

Not drinking enough water will lead to a dull skin. Although you will not see the effects of hydrating yourself immediately, on a long-term period you will get real benefits.


5. Antioxidants

Vitamins A, C, and E, are antioxidants that fight with the free radicals, and with the signs of aging. Make sure you get a good portion of them daily, from fruits and vegetables, or by taking supplements.
